Christmas
now feels ages away and Summer seems even further, so it’s time to turn our
attention to the arrival of Spring, and more specifically, to Easter. During
the bank holiday weekend kids are on a break and parents get a few much-needed
days off, so it’s the perfect opportunity to spend some family-time together.
As you will see below, there are plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained
(during the first bank holiday since Christmas!) at Beningbrough.
Join us Good Friday - Easter Monday inclusive for a busy day of Cadbury sponsored family fun.
Take a selfie with the Easter bunny
A
very special guest will be popping in to Beningbrough over Easter, everyone’s favourite
the Easter Bunny! Pose for a photo with the Easter Bunny, and he might just
give you a high-five if you’re lucky.
Artrageous Easter style
For
all the creative kids out there, try decorating your own Easter egg.* Ingredients
include one hard-boiled egg, some felt tips, piping, sequins and much more. Maybe
create a royal egg to fit in with the arrival of our new royal portraits, and
enter it into our royal egg gallery. The Easter Bunny will then be on hand to
look at all the eggs, and he might even be giving an Easter themed prize to his
favourite…

Last
but not least, become an explorer for the day as you search for the trail hidden
around the gardens. You might also discover some part of Beningbrough that you
never noticed before. There’s an option for young explorers, and one for a
little bit more experienced explorers, to keep everyone entertained. Each
completed trail sheet wins a Cadbury Egghead, giving the perfect motivation to
spend some time outdoors (there’s an inside option too, just in-case it rains).*
Simply not enough Easter themed activities
for you? Check out
Treasurer’s House who are also doing a Cadbury Egg trail. Or
visit Goddards who are having their own ChocFest, with a Terry’s Chocolate
trail and a blindfold taste test!
*There’s
a £1.50 charge to decorate an egg (which includes all materials and entry to
the royal egg gallery), and a £2 charge for the trail, including the Cadbury Egghead
prize.
